official Kickoff Party at The Gardens Mall. Your talent and professionalism far exceeded
our expectations, and by all accounts, our guests – including several media personalities,
dignitaries and corporate leaders – thoroughly enjoyed your performance.
As the largest sporting event in Palm Beach County, The Honda Classic supports a
number of charitable initiatives focused on the health and well-being of the children of
our community through medical, educational and social programs.

Since our inception in 2006, Children’s Healthcare Charity has contributed over $1.8
Million to our community. This is a testament to the goodwill of over 300 local
businesses, the commitment of more than 1,200 volunteers, the support of our vendors
and partners, as well as the thousands of residents who come together each year to help
us showcase Palm Beach County to the world.

In presenting a seamless combination of personality, style, production flexibility and
musical diversity, Groove Merchant was instrumental in making the 2009 Honda Classic
Kickoff Party a success. Of course, as we continue on our mission to make a positive
impact on the welfare of our children, we look forward to identifying opportunities for
Groove Merchant to partner with Children’s Healthcare Charity and The Honda Classic
again in 2010 and beyond.

Lindsey and I wanted to take a few moments and thank Groove Merchant for adding such
incredibly pleasant musical elements to our wedding reception. You and the other musicians
really capped an unforgettable day by creating such a wonderfully eclectic and melodious
atmosphere for myself, Lindsey and our guests to enjoy. I appreciate your professionalism; not
only musically (which was amazing) but also the way you and the rest of Groove Merchant
interacted with the staff working the reception and all our guests who attended. Many people
have come up to me in the months since and have imparted sincere thanks for being included in
our special day and attending such a classy reception. A special personal thanks for even playing
requests on the spot, I couldn't believe you pulled off John Coltrane's "Naima"! Again, I look
forward to enjoying your music again soon, I will definitely refer Groove Merchant to any
friends needing a great group of musicians to add to their special day or any other special

Groove Merchant has provided entertainment for Kravis Center members' events for over nine years. Their general responsibility was to provide music for dining for 200 to 400 guests. At all times, their performance was wonderful and appropriate for our audience. Groove Merchant has been very dependable and punctual, needing very little guidance. They are also very accommodating and are a pleasure to work with. I would and have recommended them to others and will continue to utilize their services.

We have been working consistently with Groove Merchant since the beginning of 2009. We have had the pleasure of working with and listening to Kevin, Darrell, and Dawn and all have been wonderful. Our members are always impressed with their musical stylings and even partners at events are glad when they come. Kevin and Darrell are both easy to work with and very accommodating. I have never had an instance when they were not able to assist with a request. They always show up on time and are very professional in manner and appearance.
